Height preferences ​

• Nearly universal preference for taller men, but the bar is lower than Western standards — most women cite 5'4" to 5'7" as ideal, not 6'+

• One woman said facial hair reminds her of her dad, making it a definite turnoff
• No one wanted stubble

Tattoos ​

• Responses were split but leaned negative
• Several women are fine with tattoos as long as they can be covered when meeting parents — the family presentation factor matters
• One woman cited religious reasons (Old Testament prohibition) and said tattooed bodies are "not pure anymore"
• Universal agreement: no face tattoos
• Full sleeves and excessive coverage make most uncomfortable
• One woman is fully okay with tattoos of any size

Piercings ​

• Almost universally rejected for men
• Ear piercings are sometimes acceptable

Circumcision — a cultural near-universal ​

• Every single woman preferred circumcised, and most were emphatic about it

• This ties into the "date to marry" mindset: once committed, it's permanent — "no divorce at all, I have to stick to him thick and thin"

Size matters? ​

• One woman answered simply: "Yes, of course. I need to feel good."
• Another said size doesn't matter at all as long as she loves the guy
• One woman said that even if her wedding night revealed incompatibility, she'd rather just not have sex than leave — "I don't think sex is really that important to me if I'm attached to a person"

Date to marry and sex before marriage ​

• Multiple women confirmed they "date to marry" — dating is not casual, it's spouse-shopping
• Several said no sex before marriage, framing it as traditional values
• This mindset shapes everything else: physical preferences matter less because they're choosing a life partner, not a hookup

The ultimate hypothetical: handsome poor guy vs. ugly rich guy ​

• The last interviewee (who'd been highly idealistic about faith and morals throughout) was hit with the question and visibly agonized
• Her eventual answer: "In this economy, I have to go with the rich guy" — rationalizing that he could use technology to improve his appearance
• When Pea added that the rich guy is also short (like Tyrion Lannister), she still chose him: "I have to compromise"
• She justified it by saying more money means more people you can help
• Pea pushed: "Can your morals be bought?" — the woman laughed and essentially said yes, for enough money
• She'd even accept an "Indecent Proposal" scenario: "Sure, why not"
