Filipinas Rating Foreigners - Do We Like What We See?

Pea takes photos of various foreign men with different body types, ages, and looks to local Filipinas on the street and asks them to rate each man on a scale of 1 to 10. After getting their initial ratings based on appearance alone, she introduces a financial twist — "What if he's rich?" or "What if he's poor?" — to see how money changes the equation. The results reveal consistent preferences and some brutally honest admissions about what really matters.

Facial hair preferences ​

• Well-trimmed beards are generally liked — one woman rated a bearded man 9.5, saying he looked like her Hollywood crush
• Long beards are universally rejected — multiple women said they don't want anything approaching "Santa Claus" territory
• Clean-shaven is preferred by some women; one said she'd bump a bearded man from 9 to 9.5 if he lost the beard, but not to a full 10
• Mustaches alone got mixed-to-positive reactions

Pointed noses are a recurring favorite ​

• Multiple women specifically called out "pointed nose" as attractive
• One woman said "I wish I had a nose like that" and mentioned wanting a nose bridge
• This came up with almost every woman interviewed — it's clearly a widely shared Filipino beauty standard for men

Tattoos and piercings are a hard no for most women ​

• One woman rated a heavily tattooed man a 4, saying "too much tattoos"
• Another gave a tattooed man a 3
• Piercings were even less popular — one woman called it "a no for me"
• Small, concealable tattoos got a pass from some: "as long as it will not show in the public"

Body type: dad bods beat muscles ​

• One woman explicitly said she hates abs and prefers chubby men
• Her reasoning: she's petite, so she wants someone bigger to feel like a "bodyguard" and to have someone to hug — "I need a daddy inside me... no no, like something to hug"
• Muscular men were described as "too much" by multiple women
• Pea's summary joke: "stop working on your abs and start working on that box of donuts"

Baldness is a slight negative but not a dealbreaker ​

• One woman rated a bald man 6 but said with hair he'd be an 8
• Another woman didn't mind baldness at all, saying "calbo" is fine
• One woman said a bald man was only missing hair to go from 9 to 10

Age is mostly not a big deal ​

• One woman rated an older man a 5 but still called him handsome — her issue was "he looks like my father"

Race doesn't seem to be a major factor ​

• A Black man got an 8.1 from one woman who said he looked "nice" with "good intention" and clean hair — she joked about wanting a "Michael Jordan baby"
• Another woman rated a Black man 10: "tall, dark, and handsome" and "perfect the way he is"
• One woman said she wouldn't want a Chinese man or a Filipino — only wanted the foreigner exactly as he looked
• When asked about dating Black men specifically, multiple women said yes without hesitation

The money twist: finances change everything ​

• When Pea asked "but what if he's very wealthy?" about men who scored low, nearly every woman revised upward
• A tattooed man one woman hated got upgraded: "especially nowadays, let's just be practical"
• A woman who said she'd never date an older, muscular man reversed course: "let's forget about the muscle one or the old one — let's grab it if it's wealthy"
• One woman rated a man with piercings she hated but then said she'd "consider" him if he was the son of Elon Musk
• Going the other direction: a 9.5-rated man was dropped when Pea said he was poor — "no, even though he's very handsome and can give you handsome babies"
• One notable exception: a woman said she'd date the handsome man even if he was poor and she had to provide for him — "it's fine"

The "presentable" factor ​

• One man got an 8 and the keyword was "presentable" — neat appearance, glasses, and a watch were all noticed
• Another woman specifically praised how a man dressed and his neat hair
• Grooming and clean appearance came up as much as raw physical features

Height matters to at least one woman ​

• One woman said she'd marry a poor man who's tall but would not marry a short man regardless of anything else

Pea's wrap-up observations ​

• Women were surprisingly upfront about their preferences
• Common themes: trimmed facial hair okay, tattoos/piercings not popular, muscles not favored, dad bods liked
• Age and race weren't major hang-ups — facial expression and perceived personality mattered more
• The majority changed their minds when money was introduced
